Exploration / Evolution
I really wanted to come up with something vibrant that had a hand crafted touch and also strayed away from common shading solutions.
This also meant purposefully embracing imperfections, which I'm historically terrible with.

I've been reading a lot of Spirou from the Tome & Janry era and noticed how the eyes of female characters are always cleverly supported by numerous curves.
The 3D model had a tacky visor that I switched for round glasses to implement this idea.

A few references
Left: Yeah we all saw it coming. That movie changed everything.
Middle: A compelling smorgasbord of colours and shapes!
Right: Precisely where I did not want to go with this character.
